Last week our clinic participated in the
government's measles campaign. We had a target of vaccinating 900
children in our area, and by using our black Hilux and getting into the
communities we managed to vaccinate 1,130. Despite all the rain! Good

Segera Mission Foundation is an NGO!
For the past year, directors Richard, Janice, and Serge have worked diligently with the Kenyan government to obtain NGO status for the Segera Mission Foundation. The purpose for this step forward is to allow the Mission to have more partners to aid in the relief of the poor and impoverished people in Northern Kenya. A huge thanks to our directors, board members, and volunteers for all you do for the Segera community!

Many parents of the 189 children attending our
school have been helping us to dig a hole for our new sanitation block,
and today they were out in force clearing the land where we plan to
build some classrooms. Thank you parents!
Mechanic Samuel Mwaura welded the last of the
windows into the new building, and then mason Josephat and the team went
to work adding cement.
Paul is adding a couple of coats of new paint to the future lab.
Josephat and the team unloading poles from the
Bedford truck that will become the scaffolding we need for them to
complete the gables.
Enoch preparing to put on the facia of the building.
The carpentry team started putting up the roof on the Eastern side of the building.
Josephat and the masonry team quickly built up
some scaffolding and finished the southern gable today, and then
